Telehealth Therapy is essentially the same as a traditional therapy session in our office. Sometimes we have found it more beneficial to conduct the session online than in person.

There can be many reasons to need online counseling like:

  • You live in a rural area, far from any traditional therapist’s office

  • You have a medical issue that prevents you from travel

  • You’re caring for a child or a loved one and are unable to get away

  • You’ve heard good things about our practice, but you don’t live close to our office in Lakewood

  • Social Anxiety, Time constraints, crippling depression, whatever it is, we can help

  2. I will email you a couple of papers to sign. And for me to better understand what is going on.

  3. Virtual visits with your counselor are HIPAA compliant to protect your privacy and confidentiality. We use Google Meet or ZOOM, which is HIPAA compliant. When we meet, we will discuss what outcomes and goals you want from counseling. It could be I need someone to talk to monthly or weekly.
